Role and Responsibilities:

As an IT Helpdesk Engineer, you will join our passionate customer support team to provide remote support and assistance to our valued customers.

You will also assist with resolving technical issues identified by our monitoring systems along with other customer related tasks.

You must be a team play who enjoys working with customers and helping them with technology.

Minimum Experience Required:

You will have at least 2 -3 years’ experience supporting and maintaining multiple customers with exposure to most if not all of the following.

Desktop support including business office applications
Windows server support and maintenance
Firewall configuration and troubleshooting advantageous
Wired and wireless network support
Remote access VPN support
Cloud based services (online backup, office 365)

Attributes Required:

Qualifications:

Relevant third level qualifications advantageous

As a Senior IT Engineer, you will join a team of engineers to help deliver customer projects and escalated support services across a range of customers.

You will also assist the team with solution design and help with the evaluation of new technologies as required.

You must be willing to continuously learn and up-skill along with mentoring junior engineers.

Minimum Experience Required:

Several years’ experience as a Senior Engineer with responsibility for the delivery of IT projects and support in a managed services environment essential.

You will be commercially aware and have experience with the following technologies at a minimum.

• Windows Server 08/2012
• Hyper V / Vmware
• Veeam Backup and Recovery
• Firewall Security (Fortinet preferred)
• Wired and Wireless Networks
• Cloud based services (O365 etc)

Attributes Required:

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to take ownership of issues / tasks and follow through without supervision
• Ability to work as part of a team with strong customer service focus
• Excellent client facing and communication skills essential

The role will consist of some remote and onsite support, maintenance, advice and project related tasks across a range of client profiles.

You will be presentable, approachable and capable of communicating technical information in an informative way to non-technical users.

Minimum Experience Required:
